Tori and Alex's Indian Odyssey: Part Six - Delhi, The Ending and Miscellaneous Photos of Bad English and Stray Animals
Welcome to Part Six!
THE ENDING
Congratulations! You made it to the end!
I know that these have been epic, and quite drawn out, so thanks for sticking it out! All I can say is the amount of time and information included in each post reflects the awesomeness and sheer eipcness of the trip!
When we arrived back in Delhi and were let loose to do our own thing, so Alex and I did what we do best and went shopping, and tried our best to spend all our money at Khan Market - an 'upper class' market with and incredible cafe called Urban Cafe, and then Haus Khas Village that was really eclectic and awesome.
An incredible store front. |
We had our final farewell in the lobby, which was very sad, until Diana read our about 3 pages of 'suggestions' on D's tour guiding, such as "don't wear a shirt so white it blinds the group" "take women shopping" and "learn your native flora and fauna" - when we saw an interesting looking bird on the trip to Tordi, we asked him what it was and he replied with "an Indian bird! Tut-tut. Then Abby and Robyn had their say with this wonderful collection of limericks!
Then we started packing, but just before, i laid out all my purchases on my bed...
