Nice - French Riveria, and Monaco

On our way through Cannes we stopped at Fragronard perfumery, where the credit card came out, and we were shown around the factory by a French lady that sounded like a little bird.

Sorry, Jean Paul Gaultier, you and I are no longer exclusive!
At dinner I accidentally ordered one litre of wine, instead of one glass! Oops!
Once in Nice, we whipped into our night clothes and wandered through the city. The Seven Statues of Place Massena are the creation of Jaume Plensa, and light up in transitional neon colours at night, that are stunning and very hard to photograph! The Colline du Chateau (Castle Hill) that overlooks the famous Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels) was also illuminated.

The next day we wandered the city, looking for an outfit for Monaco that night, went up the Colline du Chateau, and swam in the crowded Med.

Ballerinas... (Me, Nick, Sarah, Boy Joe)

Oh, for me!?

Swimming, bare boobies, tiny man-togs...
That night we put on out best rags and drove over the border to the principality of Monaco. The playground of the rich and famous, and the site of the infamous Monte Carlo casino, we were on track to have a terribly sophisticated time! The casino was pretty impressive, the outrageously expensive strawberry daiquiri i had on the playing floor, and the 20 euros I dropped (combined with other people's money to make the minimum bet!) gave me little pleasure, but I enjoy the post satisfaction of dropping it into conversation: "Oh yes, bar far the best strawberry daiquiri I have had was while gambling at Monte Carlo, don't you know!" I did like the plethora of beautiful cars I saw, casually walking past the screaming red Ferrari and the Lamborghini Murciélago. It was no dream Aventador, but it did well.

"Well, I say, old chap! Look over there! And there..."

Thanks for ruining the shot there, American tourist.
